I am a former JET 2001-2004 (Miyagi-ken) and now live in Nanaimo. I wonder if there is an alumni community on the island. Also, my Japanese has become really quite awful since I've not been using it and I would love to find a Japanese teacher in this area. Does anyone know of a good teacher?

I've been talking with some JET Alumni at Uvic and they were discussing setting up a group. As far as I know none exists yet.
