Mokuyokai Curling

Brought back by high demand, we are having our 2nd annual Curling gathering!

Have you ever watched curling on television and wondered how the players get the rock to the end of the sheet by sliding on their feet?! Come curling with Mokuyokai and you can experience this Canadian sport, while getting to know your fellow Mokuyokai peers!

Mokuyokai member Shaun Krislock is on a curling team at Marpole Curling Club and he will be teaching us how to slide the rock and play the game. It is cold in the curling arena so please come warmly dressed and prepared with warm socks, clean running shoes, and maybe gloves and a scarf.

When: Sunday, March 16, 2008

Where: Marpole Curling Club, 8730 Heather Street, Vancouver, BC

Time: 1:00pm – 3:00pm ** NOTE THIS TIME CHANGE!

Cost: Mokuyokai members $12 and non-Mokuyokai members $16. We can have up to 20 participants!!
