(15-Feb-09)We are very excited to start the new year with a good foundation and fresh ideas for the JET Alumni in BC. We have been very fortunate to have great working positive board members and will begin to brainstorm ideas for the year. If any Chapter ever has any news items that would like to have included in our newsletter, please feel free to contact Dinah at newsletter@jetaabc.ca. (all other board e-mails can be found at jetaabc.ca).

(25-Jan-09) JETAABC AGM was held on January 23, 2009. Full board of 11 members elected at JETAABC's AGM, including 6 returning and 5 board members in new positions. The 2009 Board of Directors will work to maintain the slate of various favourite events held in past years, and add some new things. Of particular interest is a closer relationship with Mokuyokai (www.mokuyokai.bc.ca), a Japan/Canada related business and social organization with Canadian and Japanese members of all ages. First monthly JETAABC Board meeting to be held February 12.
