DESCRIPTION:From the Powell Street Festival website: \n\n\n\nThis year’s Powell Street Festival takes place Saturday\, July 30th and Sunday\, July 31st in Oppenheimer Park and surrounding neighbourhood!  \nPowell Street Festival is one of the largest and the longest-running community arts festivals in Canada\, located in Vancouver’s historic Japanese Canadian neighbourhood\, Paueru Gai – today known as the Downtown Eastside. Celebrate with a weekend of exciting programming\, musical and theatrical performances\, a bustling marketplace\, and your favourite festival foods. \n\nJETAABC will have a table at this festival to spread the word about the JET Programme. If you would like to volunteer at our Community Booth on July 30th\, please click here to sign up. \nAdditionally\, JETAABC is participating in the Powell Street Festival charity lottery. Prizes include a staycation\, a dinner & music package\, books\, artwork\, and much more.
