Thank you to everyone who participated both virtually and in person at our fourth JETAA Bento Workshop: Onigiri Edition on Sunday, January 28th, 2024.

This was the first year that we hosted this event as a Hybrid event by offering in-person locations both in Canada and the US and remotely over Zoom. We had 15 participants in Vancouver, BC; 16 in Anchorage, AK; and 12 who attended virtually. All 43 of us gathered, eager to learn and make onigiris.

Amanda from K&L Bentos did an amazing presentation from showing us a brief history of onigiri to walking us through the three techniques in Onigiri making. During the workshop, participants enjoyed making and eating the onigiris while interacting with fellow participants.
