It’s that time of year again! Celebrating Japanese-Canadian Culture for 46 years, the Powell Street Festival is Vancouver’s longest community arts celebration! You can be a part of this year’s festival taking place July 30th and 31st.

JETAABC Japanese Language Classes: Winter Term ’22 Now Open!

We are happy to announce that registration for JETAABC Japanese Language Classes for the Winter term is now open! We will be holding this term online over Zoom. Classes will start on January 13, 2021 from 6pm to 8pm PST every Thursdays until March 17, 2021.

Virtual Classroom:

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and in particular the highly transmissible Omicron variant, the JETAABC Board of Directors is announcing that the upcoming AGM will be held 100% virtually on Zoom this year. 2022 Metro Vancouver Japan Bowl

JETAABC is excited to invite high school students learning Japanese to participate in the Metro Vancouver Japan Bowl. The Japan Bowl® is a Japanese language and culture competition for high school students who are studying Japanese. The Japan-America Society of Washington DC organized and hosted the first Japan Bowl in 1992.
