On August 9-11, 2024, JETAABC hosted the JET Alumni Association of Canada National Conference, with support from JETAA Canada, the Council of Local Authorities for International Relations (CLAIR) / Japan Local Government Center (JLGC) New York, and the Consulate General of Japan in Vancouver. On May 27th, 2023, 7 JET alumni and 2 community members gathered at BCIT in downtown Vancouver to celebrate Asian Heritage Month. They enjoyed a sushi lunch and time to learn about Asian Canadian history, share stories and experiences, and enjoy some fun games and karaoke. This was a great opportunity to engage, connect, educate, and raise awareness in our community.

The Canada country representative (CR) is the primary point of contact to Canada’s various chapters, and represents our country at the JETAA-International level, as required. See this PDF for further details on the Canada Rep’s responsibilities.
